Synopsis

Benin is a good laboratory for democracy in Africa. After 17 years of unchallenged power, Kerekou , before popular discontent , convened in December 1989 a national conference after which elections will the advent of Nicephore Soglo . The upcoming April 1996 elections, the former dictator returned to power: this time it is favored by a democratic vote. The two directors do not use comments, just pictures and signs.
