Naked Reality is a bold attempt by Jean-Pierre Bekolo to challenge typical boundaries of filmmaking. The film is relatively short and follows a loose plot, depicting a woman named Wanita, who is searching for her true identity. The film takes place 150 years in the future, when the human race is infected with a virus that only Wanita can cure. By travelling through time, finding information about her DNA, and speaking with ancestors, Wanita embarks on a journey of self-discovery while simultaneously working to save the human race.
