Synopsis

This film follows the story of Alilo, an Algerian hustler. Alilo's current assignment is to pick up fake designer dresses in Paris which will then be sold upon his return to Algeria. His plans are interrupted when he misplaces the address of the dress shop, and instead he must spend five days in Paris with his cousin Mok. Mok is an aspiring rapper who has struggled for years to make a living and a life in Paris with varied success; he remains cheerful and optimistic about the future. As the film delves into Alilo's adventures in Paris and into Mok's stylish life, it provides a glimpse into the world of immigrants in Paris.
