Synopsis

Udonka, a village girl, waits ten long years for her sweetheart, Michael, to return and marry her, after studying abroad. Meanwhile, her uncle is carefully selecting men to have her hand in marriage. However, upon Michael’s return he announces to Udonka’s horror that he has a London-bred fiancée whose arrival is imminent.
