Synopsis

In this melodrama, Aziza is forced to labor in the fields to support herself and her husband. Aziza is raped while working this job, and when she has the baby, she strangles it. Village people find it, and assume that it is the result of a sinful mother—not knowing it is Aziza’s baby. This film sheds light on the difficulties that migrant workers face.
