In this action-adventure film, we are centered on the journey of "Abdullah Chambaa".  A soldier, Bokar Dembele, searches for a series of spiritual murals made by the painter in an abandoned bunker in the Malian desert. He is believed to be Augiéras himself. The renowned Spanish painter and ceramicist Miquel Barcelo, whose recent work is inspired by Augiéras, soon joins in the search as well. The film's numerous doublings, conundrums, and sexual innuendos reflect Augieras's innovative art and troubled life as Bokar loses his wits and the experiences become even more strange and overwhelming.
