Synopsis

Two friends, Mory and Ken, are enjoying a summer together at the beginning of this film. They both have big dreams to leave Goree Island, where they live, and to go to the “big city.” Their families try to make ends meet in hopes of their children’s futures, but the two friends end up running away together through the deserts and mountains. On their way, they meet an old shepherd who shares with them his wisdom about life.
