This documentary follows two acclaimed African poets, Syl Cheney-Coker from Sierra Leone and Niyi Osundare from Nigeria as they travel through their home countries. Along the way, the film becomes a portrait of their friendship and a warm space for the two friends to discuss their art, histories, personal tragedies as well as future aspirations. The documentary also reflects on problems plaguing their two home countries such as poor resources for education, corruption and violent histories.
