Synopsis

Kounandi is a dwarf and is rejected and abused by the people of her village because of this. Her adoptive mother, Miriam, protected her from this abuse. However, her husband accused Miriam of adultery and killed her leaving Kounandi alone. Then Kounandi falls secretly in love with Karim whom is a young man in the village, but he is already married to Awa. One night, Awa has a heart attack and falls into a coma leaving Karim very sad. Kounandi sacrifices her heart to give to Awa so that Karim can be happy.
