Synopsis: This film focuses on the story of a slave trader, John Newton who experiences the violence and cruelty of the slave trade in Nigeria and, because of this, becomes a priest in the Anglican church. Through his journey to Africa, Newton gains the inspiration to write the famous song “Amazing Grace.”
