Synopsis
This is a documentary by Zanele Muholi who presents an exhibition in Johannesburg. The exhibition was black and white photos of women. But what caught the people off guard was that it was of black lesbians. Naturally, the exhibition caused a lot of commotion amongst the viewers. Interviews taken showed mixed reviews from people. It forced people to open their eyes whether or not they want to. They had to admit to the abuse and rejection lesbians were subject to from the rest of the world.
