Synopsis
Based on the book of the same name by Athol Fugard. Tsotsi is a small-time criminal from Johannesburg. Hardened by an abusive childhood, Tsotsi has become a teenaged gang leader. One day, Tsotsi hijacks a car only to discover a three-month old baby in the backseat. He takes the baby home with him, enlisting the help of Miriam to care for the child. Meanwhile the mother of the child works with the police to help track Tsotsi down. Winner of the 2006 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
